To Auditor DiZoglio and Staff,

You want transparency? Let’s talk.

This isn’t just about political corruption at the highest levels. It’s about the complete institutional rot that has existed in Massachusetts for decades,  from police departments to hospitals, from courts to mental health providers, and across every single agency that claims to protect the most vulnerable.

You say you want to uncover corruption. Then read this.

My story starts more than 30 years ago, when my childhood friend Tammy was found dead on the side of Fox road in Springfield. No one ever gave us answers. The school system failed us. The police looked the other way. Authorities dismissed the trauma, ignored the emotional fallout, and let predators and abusers move freely while silencing kids who spoke up.

Fast forward to adulthood, I tried to kill myself multiple times. In 2004 and 2005, I went to Baystate Health for suicidal ideation. They ran bloodwork and discovered hyperthyroidism. They never told me. They discharged me without a treatment plan, without support, and with no understanding of how thyroid conditions can trigger mental health collapse.

I suffered for ten more years before discovering the diagnosis myself. In 2016, I finally got treatment after demanding a full thyroid panel. Nobody at Baystate ever took accountability for missing it the first time.

I’ve documented the abuse endured by others, too. Stephen Nichols, the son of an old friend, was forcibly sent to a psych ward in another state, two hours away,  without informed consent, drugged without proper disclosure, and later confined in group homes where emotional expression led to punishment, restraint, or solitary confinement in a closet. Yes, a closet. These homes had in-house nurses and medical staff. No one intervened. No one cared.

Meanwhile, I reached out for help during a moment of self-harm. Commonwealth Care ignored me. My therapist ignored me. There was no emergency response, no follow-up. Nothing.

I’ve filed complaints with multiple agencies. I’ve documented everything publicly in a blog that spans over 30 years of system failures, corruption, and coverups. These stories are not hidden, they’re online for the world to see. And I’m not the only one.

So when your office says it wants transparency and accountability.... start here.

This is real. This is ongoing. And this is the kind of corruption that has been institutionalized in Massachusetts for decades.
